Content Policy
Placeholder text
The content below is standard policy boilerplate intended as a placeholder pending professional legal review. It does not constitute final legal advice and should be replaced by counsel qualified in the applicable jurisdiction.
1. Scope
This Content Policy applies to content you submit, upload, or publish through the Authentic Influence website (the "Site") and the platforms operated by Authentic Influence and its portfolio companies (together, the "Platforms"). That includes profiles, posts, images, video, comments, campaign materials, and messages.
2. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute, and promote it in connection with operating, securing, and improving the Platforms.
3. What we ask of you
Content should be truthful and accurate, belong to you or be properly licensed or approved for use, and be relevant to the Platform it is posted on. Where a Platform involves a brand relationship, follow any additional campaign instructions you are given.
4. Content we do not allow
The Platforms may not be used to submit or share content that: is unlawful; harasses, threatens, or bullies anyone; is hateful or discriminatory; is sexually explicit; is gratuitously violent; infringes someone else's intellectual property; impersonates another person or brand; is spam, a scam, or materially misleading; contains malicious code; or shares another person's personal data without their consent.
5. Disclosing paid and material relationships
If you promote a brand, product, service, or campaign in exchange for payment, free product, or another benefit, you must disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously within the content itself. Undisclosed sponsorships are not permitted on the Platforms.
6. Brand assets and intellectual property
Use a brand's name, logo, product imagery, or other assets only where you have permission, or where the brand has supplied or approved the material through the Platforms. Do not imply an endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship that does not exist.
7. Review, removal, and enforcement
We may review, refuse, restrict, or remove content that we reasonably consider to breach this Content Policy, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable law, and we may limit or suspend access to an account. We are not obligated to monitor all content in advance.
8. Reporting content
If you believe content on the Platforms breaches this policy, please tell us at founder@authentic-influencer.com. Include where the content appears and why you believe it breaches the policy, and we will review it where we reasonably can.
9. Copyright complaints (DMCA notices)
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). To submit a notice, send it to our designated copyright agent at founder@authentic-influencer.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice." Your notice must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; (c) identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it, such as a URL; (d) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. When we receive a complete notice, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the material and will make reasonable efforts to notify the person who posted it. Knowingly false claims may expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
10. Counter-notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to founder@authentic-influencer.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice." It must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal; (c) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and (d) your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Authentic Influence may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent. After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
11. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of others' copyrights.
12. Asking us to review a decision
If your content is removed or your access is restricted and you believe that was a mistake, email us at founder@authentic-influencer.com and we will review the decision where we reasonably can. For copyright removals, please use the counter-notice process above.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Content Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platforms after changes constitutes acceptance.
